– Crash site/debris photos and descriptions (Rear Fuselage updated 4/3/13)
– Paint Scheme Diagrams (some minor corrections needed) ( Info updated 4/3/13)
– Brief History of 746’s Career (more information needed)
– Differences between 746 and a standard B-17G
In Progress:
– Analysis of paint and primer colors
– Diagrams showing primer use on airframe
– Description/history of the B-17H/SB-17G (Updated 4/3/13)
– Map/Aerial photo of debris field (Updated 4/2/13)
To-do:
– Diagrams showing which parts of the airframe remain
– Diagrams showing 746’s past paint schemes
– History/description of the crash
– Overview of the crash site
My current goal is to have most of these items completed in 2013- if you or someone you know has any information regarding the history, wreck, crew, or anything else related to 746, your help would be greatly appreciated!
